What about the tire pressure alarm when the tire pressure alarm is on

If the tire pressure alarm is on, it means that the tire pressure is abnormal. You should pull over and check the tire pressure. If equipped with a tire pressure gauge or tire pressure monitor, you can check whether the tire pressure of the four tires is too high or too low, resulting in the automobile tire pressure alarm. In order to prevent the false alarm of the tire pressure monitor, it is best to use the tire pressure gauge to detect the tire pressure of the four tires.

This can be done when the vehicle tire pressure alarm:

1. The puncture of the tire makes the car tire pressure alarm

If the tire is punctured, the air leakage is very slow. You can drive at low speed to the nearest repair shop for treatment. Do not pull out the nail immediately, otherwise it will cause more serious air leakage and make the car unable to continue driving.

2. Long time driving or no tire pressure supplement makes the vehicle tire pressure alarm

If you drive for a long time, the tire temperature will rise and the tire pressure will increase, resulting in the tire pressure alarm. In this case, you can stop and wait for the tire temperature to cool down naturally before continuing to drive, or replace the spare tire and continue to drive. If the tire pressure is not replenished for a long time, you can inflate the tire to the normal range with the on-board inflation pump to drive normally.

3. The failure of tire pressure sensor makes the vehicle tire pressure alarm

If the vehicle tire pressure alarm is caused by the tire pressure sensor fault, you need to drive the vehicle to a 4S store or a regular maintenance point, read the fault with a tester, and then clear it.

When you are not sure which situation caused the tire pressure alarm, you can try to turn off the engine first, restart the vehicle after an interval of 1-2 minutes, and check the tire pressure value displayed on the instrument panel after the vehicle runs stably; If the tire pressure is too high or too low, inflate or deflate to see if the tire pressure warning lamp can be eliminated. If these methods do not work, you can only replace the spare tire and drive to the repair point for treatment.
