With the theme of "future oriented trilateral cooperation - lasting peace, universal prosperity and common culture", the forum, in the face of the epidemic and the current profound economic, social and humanitarian changes, provides a platform for all walks of life to jointly plan China Japan ROK cooperation and discuss the role of the Secretariat.

At the following three sub forums, former political figures, senior diplomats, famous scholars and representatives of important economic and cultural organizations of the three countries expressed their insights on the institutionalization of China Japan ROK cooperation, inclusive economic growth and cultural exchanges. Sub Forum 1, with the theme of "joint consultation and joint construction: improving the level of institutionalization and maintaining security and peace", analyzed the role of institutionalized cooperation among the three countries in coping with the crisis, especially in dealing with non-traditional security challenges faced by China, Japan and the ROK in the post epidemic era. The theme of sub forum II is "creating and sharing: promoting inclusive growth and promoting universal prosperity". It discusses how the three countries should carry out economic and trade cooperation under the framework of RCEP, and how to explore new economic growth points by using digitalization, automation and green transformation. Sub forum III "co education and integration: embracing common culture and leading rational integration" focuses on the common cultural memory formed over the years in the history of the three countries, and how cultural exchanges can promote the common feelings of the three countries.

At present, China Japan ROK cooperation includes the China Japan ROK leaders' meeting, 21 ministerial meeting mechanisms, more than 70 working level dialogues and consultations, and more than 100 projects and cooperation mechanisms. It covers a wide range of fields such as economy, environment, health, disaster management, education, youth, etc., and benefits all aspects of the lives of the three peoples. Since its establishment in september2011, the China Japan ROK cooperation Secretariat has formally joined this cooperation process to work together to promote peace and prosperity in the region and beyond.
