BYD on the list of Fortune's latest Fortune 500 release


A few days ago, "Fortune" magazine announced the list of the world's top 500 companies in 2022. This year, there are 33 auto and parts companies on the list. It is worth mentioning that BYD has entered the list for the first time. In addition, the total revenue of the auto and parts companies on the list increased by 16%, and the total profit increased by 242%.


The top five car brands on the list are Volkswagen, Toyota, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz and Ford. Among them, Volkswagen surpassed Toyota to regain the title of "the world's largest car manufacturer".


SAIC ranks 68th among the Fortune Global 500 with an operating income of US$120.9 billion, followed by FAW 79th, Dongfeng 122nd, BAIC 162nd, GAC 186th and Geely 229th. It is worth mentioning that BYD entered the top 500 this year, ranking 436th, adding another seat for Chinese enterprises.
