Audi's new charging service will launch in 2023
The Audi Charging service will be launched on January 1, 2023, replacing the original e-tron charging service in 27 European countries, including Germany, according to overseas media reports. The fees cover a base fee and a charging fee, which can be selected from three packages, with Audi officials paying part of the cost for the first year.
The new Audi charging service will be provided by 800 charging providers with a total of about 400,000 charging posts. It includes 1,900 high-performance charging piles, which are placed on the main line and can charge up to 350 kilowatts.
In addition, the new charging service simplifies the process so that users can start charging and complete the payment with a single click in the vehicle, connect the charging cable. At the same time, the car system and mobile phone app can plan and navigate to the charging station.
It is worth mentioning that Audi pure electric owners can enjoy seamless access to these stations no matter which country they are traveling to. The Audi Charging service integrates all services into the multimedia interactive system (multimedia interface) and the myAudi application. The charge can be started using an RFID card or the myAudi app.
In terms of the Chinese market, Audi is building a charging network in China to provide ultra-fast charging service for future PPE models and support one-stop plug-in charging experience for Audi App online booking.
