Tesla officially unveiled its global engineering headquarters in California

   On February 22, Tesla's global engineering headquarters was officially unveiled in California, which corresponds to Tesla's R&D Innovation Center in Shanghai. In the future, Tesla will strengthen the intelligent technology and localization research and development strategy.

According to Tesla's 2022 financial report, the company spent about 20.9 billion yuan on R&D, up 18.5% year on year. Some financial analysts found that its research and development expenses accounted for more than 40 percent of operating expenses. At the same time, Tesla spent 16,000 yuan on developing a single bike, about three times the industry average.
